Adenium This is a genus of deciduous succulent shrublets, shrubs or small trees. ... Seeds are light brown, with a deciduous tuft of hairs at each end. Plants are slow-growing, but long-lived and are easily grown from seed or cuttings. The various species flower at different times of the year. It is an evergreen or succulent shrub growing with pachycaul stems and a stout, swollen basal caudex. The leaves are spirally arranged, clustered toward the tips of the shoots with long and broad stem. The flowers are tubular, long, with five petals as single with 10 to 12 as double more than 15 as triple. The Adenium is all set to pour beauty to your garden. the stem base becomes strongly thickened with age and you can make them as bonsai after few years. the plant has fleshy taproot system which can be used as a medicine.
